Exhibitor Guidelines

Thank you for being part of the 2020 Huttig Rewards Select national buying show!  We are proud to host this event, and ask for your help to make the most of this once-a-year opportunity for our customers and for you!

 

As the designated contact for your company, you are responsible for all things related to your exhibit space at the Huttig buying show, including show services and possible additional staffing.  Please let us know as soon as possible if someone else is responsible for your booth.  Click here for the buying show floor plan.

 

Buying Show Schedule

Please note:  Primrose Ballroom must be completely cleared by 6:00 p.m. on Friday 1/17/20.  All exhibits must be removed from the buying show space or ready for outbound shipping by 4:00 p.m.  Show services will have staff on-site should you have questions or need assistance.

 

Buying Show Services

Show services will be provided by GES Exposition Services. 

  • GES will be contacting our exhibitors directly with the show services exhibitor kit. 
  • The GES exhibitor kit contains order forms for furniture, freight handling, and other services provided by GES. 
  • The kit also contains order forms for services provided by the ARIA or their on-site suppliers.  Please place orders using these forms or use the contact information on the forms for questions about the services.

Should you have questions regarding anything not covered or needing clarification, please contact GES National Call Center at (800) 801-7648.  Please review the order forms prior to contacting GES.

 

Our contact at GES is Michael Schencke.  Michael will be on-site at the ARIA with us during move-in, the show, and move-out.

 

Show package:

  • Your booth space includes pipe and drape (Huttig green), a standard 11 in. x 17 in. identification sign, a 6 ft. skirted (black) table and a wastebasket.  Please order any other materials that you may need.
  • The buying show room is fully carpeted; we recommend that you do not order carpet for your booth unless you have specific needs that require additional carpeting.
  • We have arranged for standard vacuuming and removal of empty boxes and other move-in debris.  If you have large, heavy containers for disposal or other “heavy-duty” cleaning requirements, please order using the exhibitor order forms.
  • Security will be in place following set-up on Thursday through Friday morning when the buying show opens for business.

Buying Show Displays

Your company is one of the select few that were invited to exhibit; how do you plan to excite and engage over 400 of our top customers?  We can’t wait to see what you have in store for them!  We encourage you to think beyond table-top displays + brochures;

  • bring product samples that they can experience first-hand
  • let them be the first to know about new products
  • share tips to help with their contractors and DIY customers
  • offer give-a-ways and other incentives when they stop by to learn more about your products

Planning a raffle from your booth?  If so, we can provide a raffle box for you, customized with your company’s logo.  Please notify Linda Graziano by 1/3/20 if you will need a raffle box @ lgraziano@huttig.com.

 

Buying Show Staff

Plan for an appropriate number of representatives to handle buying show traffic; we are expecting over 400 of our top customers.

  • Should you wish to include additional team members for the sole purpose of assisting at your booth during the buying show, please send e-mail to HuttigRewardsSelect@proghq.com no later than December 4 with the following information:
    • First and Last Name
    • Name of Company
    • Business City and State
    • e-mail address for attendee
  • Additional Vendor Booth Staff attendees are responsible for their own housing.  Please indicate in your e-mail if you would like to be placed on a waitlist to be contacted should rooms become available at the ARIA at our group rate for your Vendor Booth Staff attendees.

Please note that Huttig Rewards Select name badges are required for admittance to any of our group events, including the buying show.  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.  Be sure to plan ahead for any booth staff and share their information with us, as they will need name badges to enter the buying show space.
