


Health and Safety Protocols for Miami Beach

TSA Response to COVID-19
- All airline travelers must wear a facemask through the entire travel experience. Failure to comply may result in denial of entry to the screening area and may result in penalty fines.
- Remove belts and all personal items from your pockets such as wallets, keys or phones before entering the checkpoint
- Reduced physical contact with the implementation of installation of acrylic barriers at various points throughout the checkpoint area.
- Increased frequency and intensity of cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched checkpoint surfaces, including security screening equipment and bins.
- All TSA officers are required to wear masks and gloves at the checkpoint, and they may be wearing eye protection or clear plastic face shields.
- TSA officers changing gloves after each pat down and at the request of any passenger.
- As a temporary exemption from the 3-1-1 rule, TSA is allowing one liquid hand sanitizer container, up to 12 ounces per passenger, that will be screened separately. All other liquids, gels and aerosols in carry-on bags are limited to 3.4 ounces that must fit in a one quart-sized bag.

Additional Information and Tips
- Be sure to visit the official website of your airline carrier, your local airport and any connecting airports for health and safety measures they have in place.
- Bring your own face coverings (mask and/or shield) and wear them in public spaces.
- Sneeze or cough into your arm when in public spaces.
- Maintain appropriate social distancing.
- Avoid hugging, handshaking, etc.
- Have a travel-sized hand sanitizer and packet of tissues with you at all times.
- Wash your hands with soap and water frequently throughout the day.
- Sanitize your cell phone daily.
- If you're on-site and not feeling well, return to your room and alert the hotel front desk immediately.
- If you become sick within 14 days after attending the meeting/program and are diagnosed positive for COVID-19, please inform Alera Group Events.
